Sending out a big “Thank you!” to everyone who offered input on colors for my new website, which should go live sometime next week. (fingers crossed) We certainly came a long way from where we started. The colors went from to too staid, to too historical, to too cartoony. Then, finally, after much agonizing and obsessing, I think I found the perfect balance between sophisticated and friendly. So, ta-da, here it is!
What do you think? I hope you love it as much as I do.
PS: Now that the voting is over, I’ve moved all those posts with color options to a folder so the don’t clutter up the blog. Again, thank you for the comments.

I’m glad you like the blue. I clashed a tiny bit with the green in the hedge behind me, so I added the white border to the photo, and I think that solved it. I’m very excited to see the finished site.

Funny you should ask. I think — fingers crossed — that it’s going to go live later today or tomorrow. The Web developer, designer, and I are all working like crazy, making all the last few tweaks. It’s looking so good! I can’t wait to show it off!
